RICK LANGSTRAAT
BOARD MEMBER
Rick Langstraat was born and raised hunting on the farms of Iowa, where he developed a lifelong passion for the outdoors. After a distinguished 22+ year career in the United States Air Force, Rick retired with the rank of Master Sergeant.
Rick and his wife, Lucy, relocated to Nebraska in 2003, where he continued serving the Air Force as a civilian before later transitioning into a defense contracting role.
COMMITMENT TO CONSERVATION & EDUCATION
Rick is a founding member of the Big Game Conservation Association and proudly supports numerous conservation organizations, including:
• Ducks Unlimited
• Pheasants Forever
• Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation
He also serves as a volunteer instructor with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, where he teaches bowhunter education, firearm hunter education, and tree stand safety.

As a devoted family man, Rick is deeply involved in his sons’ scouting activities. He serves as:
• Assistant Den Leader — Pack 206 (Cub Scouts)
• Assistant Scoutmaster & Merit Badge Counselor — Troop 888 in Papillion
