Enhancing Public Archery Facilities

In the summer of 2022, the Big Game Conservation Association completed upgrades to the archery range at Pilger Recreation Area.

These improvements were designed to enhance usability, comfort, and shooting versatility for archers of all skill levels.

RANGE ENHANCEMENTS

• Nine target canopies installed
• Updated target systems
• Expanded shooting distance options

Target canopy placement includes:

• Two at 20 yards
• Two at 30 yards
• Two at 40 yards
• Two at 50 yards
• One at 70 yards

These upgrades provide:

• Improved shooting comfort
• Greater training flexibility
• Enhanced recreational opportunities
• Expanded public access

The archery range is open for free public use, supporting archers across Nebraska.
