Jon Slaga has proudly called Nebraska home his entire life. Born in Fremont, Jon’s passion for the outdoors began when his family relocated to McCook. Surrounded by avid outdoorsmen — including his father’s coworkers and a neighbor involved in professional bass fishing — Jon quickly developed a deep appreciation for hunting and fishing.

 

After moving to Norfolk, where he graduated high school, Jon remained actively engaged in the outdoor lifestyle. A later move to Lincoln for a construction career temporarily shifted his focus away from hunting.
